Baby/Postpartum Things You Need

It’s been such a long time since I utilized this space, but I though it would be a great spot to share my favorite baby and postpartum items! In the past 5 years of making babies, I feel like there’s SO much more available now that really makes the whole transition with a new babe so much easier, so I wanted to share with y’all the things that have helped me so much.

I’m linking everything directly to make it easier for YOU guys, but some of these links are affiliate ones, so I appreciate you supporting me through my links if you do choose to buy something! xo

In no particular order, here’s my list of favorites!

  1. Haaka: oh my goodness if you plan on breastfeeding, you NEED this product! it’s inexpensive, and such a simple design but soo helpful! Basically it creates a light suction on whatever breast you’re not nursing on, and allows you to catch any milk from the opposite side you’re feeding on. I’ve banked HUNDREDS of ounces of extra milk this way, that otherwise would have just gone to waste! They’re about $13 on amazon, and truly the best money you’ll ever spend! Click here for Haaka!

  2. This Kindred Bravely Nursing Bra is my absolute favorite! I polled instagram for most favorite PP items, and this was one of the number one things that people shared! I ordered it right away and it doesn’t disappoint (so much so that I quickly got a second one!). It’s soft and comfortable enough to wear during the day and sleep in.

  3. This WishGarden Afterbirth tincture is wonderful for cramping and pains after giving birth. Click here to purchase it from Amazon— it’s just an herbal supplement so you can take it in addition to Tylenol or another else you choose to take after birth. You just add a couple droppers to your water, and it’s almost tasteless but can really help with inflammation and discomfort.

  4. Another must have for me are these Bamboobies pads that can be put in the freezer or microwave to sooth sore breasts as your milk comes in. Here's the link : I put mine in the freezer and use them after nursing to relieve some of the soreness and engorgement.

  5. The Frida Mom Peri Bottle is another product I discovered this pregnancy from asking instagram and it’s so good! So much better that the bottle that the hospital gives you…this upside-down peri bottle makes going to the bathroom post-baby so much easier. I just fill mine with warm water and keep it right next to the toilet so I can use it each time I go.

  6. This Baby Balm by Primally Pure is so wonderful! I use is as a diaper cream, a nipple butter for myself and as a moisturizer on any chapped or irritated baby skin. You can use my code: LOSTANDFOUND for 10% off their entire site!

  7. There’s a few Young Living Products that I absolutely swear by PP and for baby! (My referral number is #16830039 on the Young Living website)

  8. Here’s are my top few:

    1. Claraderm: it’s a perineal spray that contains a blend of oils that are so incredible for healing! Starting at about 38 weeks pregnant, I spray my lady bits with it when I use the bathroom, and continue to do so post baby. It can really help you heal as well as not tear, and it’s helped me so much with speedy healing and keeping any swelling or itchiness at bay. MUST HAVE for sure.

    2. Tummygize roller: this has been a godsend so many times. It’s an inexpensive oil with big results. It’s a pre-dilluted blend of oils that help with digestive support. I use it on my babies bellies when I feel like they’re struggling with gas or can’t poop.

    3. Seedlings Calm line: this whole baby line is wonderful, but my favorites are the Baby Wash (so gentle and perfect for that first bath), the Diaper Rash Cream, the Baby Oil (great to use to dilute other oils with) and the Seedlings Calm Oil (we diffuse this next to Jack’s bassinet each night!)

  9. This Saranoni Blanket was an item we got from our registry and it is the SOFTEST thing I’ve ever felt! We actually got a small one for Jack and a bigger one for me, because I love it so much. It’s kinda a fun/splurge item but so worth it!
